The Peak Improv Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization chaired by improv community members, performers and educators based in Colorado Springs.
You can now donate to the Peak Improv Foundation to help support our mission of arts, education, and community building.
All charitable donations are tax-deductible, and thanks to a generous patron, up to $50,000 in donations will be matched in 2026.
Your contributions, along with arts grant funding will go directly to paying teachers, providing scholarships to classes, covering performance costs for new artists, and allowing free and reduced price shows and workshops to be offered through the Peak Improv Theater.
Peak Improv Foundation Mission Statement
The Peak Improv Foundation serves Colorado’s Front Range by providing performing arts education and opportunities to artists and students of all ages. We provide scholarships for free and discounted programs including comedy and theater classes, after school clubs, live shows, and a safe space for performance artists to experiment, learn and grow together.
We provide theater and performing arts education to Colorado Springs and El Paso County’s community through classes, workshops, and jams. We work with local arts organizations to create opportunities to get students-turned-performers in front of audiences. Whether we get them on stage at live shows, help them produce digital content, or find collaborators to bring their unique and exciting projects to life.
We believe artists and educators deserve to be paid a fair wage for their work. The Peak Improv Theater invests in learning, spaces, and people. Making sure staff at local arts organizations get paid has never been more important. We need the artists, teachers, and staff at these organizations to be able to thrive while doing the valuable work of leading human driven creative projects.
We will continue to build and maintain a local performing arts community based in Colorado Springs. Free shows, classes, and events will always be available to anyone willing and interested in joining this creative and loving community.
