IMPROV 101
8 weeks

An introductory improv class designed to go over the fundamental building blocks of the art form. If you're new to improv, or want a review of the basics, this 8-week course is for you! Each week covers a different skill set, all leading to a performance opportunity for you and your classmates. 

Taught by Casey Frase. 
(Ages 17+)

Monday 101 Improv Class
Begins January 6th and is held every Monday from 7:30-9:30PM for 7 weeks.

Saturday Class 101 Improv Class
Begins January 4th and is held every Saturday from 10:00AM-12:00PM for 7 weeks (No class on January 25th).

Class performances will be Monday, February 24th at 7:00PM.

Intermediate IMPROV
8 weeks

Our next level up from the 101 Improv class. Intermediate is for those seeking more practice with more complex short form games, and a thoughtful approach to your next steps as a performer. Reinforcing the fundamentals of improv, with an added degree of challenge and refinement.

Taught by Johnny Wilson.

(Ages 18+)

First class is Wednesday January 8th from 5:30PM-7:30PM, and will meet every Wednesday for 7 weeks.

Class performance will be Wednesday February 26th at 7:00PM.

ADVANCED IMPROV
8 Weeks

Our advanced improv class is for those who are interested in learning nuanced improv techniques and working on high levels of play. Improv experience is required to sign up, our 101 class, and our intermediate class is recommended. A focus on long form, scene work, and advanced improvisational theory will help you be the best improviser you can be!

Taught by Ethan Goldman. (Ages 18+)

First class is Saturday January 4th from 2:00PM-4:00PM and will meet every Saturday for 7 weeks at the Peak Improv Theater in Colorado Springs.

(No Class on January 25)

Class performance will be Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00PM.

STAND-UP COMEDY 101
8 weeks

If your looking to get into stand-up comedy, look no further! This introduction to stand-up comedy is the perfect way to learn to write your own material, practice on stage in a safe and supportive environment, and gain real-world networking tools for how to get booked as a comedian.

Taught by Casey Frase, with guest comedian teachers. (Ages 18+)

First class is Thursday January 9th from 5:30-7:30PM and will meet every Thursday for 7 weeks at the Peak Improv Theater in Colorado Springs.

Class performances will be Thursday, February 27th at 8:00PM.

STAND-UP Refinement & Review
8 weeks

If your looking to improve your stand-up comedy, look no further! This intermediate level to stand-up comedy class is the perfect way to refine your material, practice on stage in a safe and supportive environment, and gain real-world networking tools for how to get booked as a comedian.

Gentle Improv
8 Weeks

Looking for a way to improve your social skills, work on adaptable solutions, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment? Our new gentle improv class is designed for those who struggle with being overwhelmed, or have social anxiety, and caters to a neurodiverse population. Using games and exercises designed for those with language and social barriers, this improv class can help you relax and be present in the moment all while playing and having fun.

This limited size improv class is led by Meggan Hyde. A registered nurse, Erin Barry is present at all classes, and available to provide support as needed to students.
Ages 18+

First class is Monday December 2nd, from 6:30-8:30PM, and meets every Monday for 7 weeks. (No class on December 24 or 30th). Classes in January will shift to a 5:30-7:30PM time.

This class does not have a performance, but instead will take a field trip to see the Improv Ensembles on Saturday January 31st at 7:00PM.

NOTE: We do not offer refunds, or prorated pricing for missing classes. In the event of missing a week of class, the 7th and final week of non-performance class serves as a review of all material. If you are interested in sampling a class, there is a $25 drop-in fee to participate in a single week of class. This drop-in fee is due by the start of class, and can be purchased HERE, or paid in-person.

MUSICAL IMPROV
8 weeks

Play musical improv games, where you sing, rap, and rhyme to create music from thin air. Learn musical improv games, a full improvised musical long-form, and get vocal training to help you project confidence!

Perfect for those who love improv comedy and music!

Taught by Meggan Hyde.
Ages 18+
Intermediate Improv recommended.

Actors Voice Workshop

Learn about the common-sense approach to on-camera acting Paul Neal Rohrer has developed over 30yrs of practice. His workbook "On Camera Acting - A Workbook and Guide" is filled with over 30 yrs experience and our actors are highly encouraged to purchase it to follow along during workshop.   From commercials to feature film scenes; from teleprompter/ear prompter work to monologues and beyond, ours is one of the most comprehensive on-camera acting workshops in the region.  

(Ages 18+) Taught by Steve Austin. 

Class is every Tuesday, from 6:30-9:30pm at the Peak Improv Theater (3440 N Carefree Cir, Unit 150). $150 for a whole month of workshops.
