Hop on stage as we host improvised games, scenes, and songs. We provide a welcoming safe space to try improv, or just come by to watch!

This event is free and open to the public. No reservation or tickets needed! We do accept cash/credit donations to help keep the lights on.

These auditions are for the formation of new coached ensemble improv teams at the Peak Improv Theater. Each team will be cast, assigned a coach, and given a January rehearsal schedule for the performance on the January 31st.

A cast list/rehearsal schedule will be emailed to sign-ups on Friday December 20th. If you cannot make it to any of the scheduled rehearsals, please let us know, and we will try to cast you in a different group.

The show on January 31st will be a judged “contest” where one team will win a future paid performance opportunity at the PiT in the Spring.

Auditions are for participants ages 16+.

Breakneck SketCh

Calling all comedy sketch writers and actors looking for a challenge! The Peak Improv Theater Presents: Breakneck Sketch, our pop-up comedy event brings together sketch actors and writers alike, to quickly create, produce, and perform a full sketch show.

WRITING

HOW IT WORKS
Writing teams will be given just 36 hours over a weekend to create a sketch from scratch. The following Saturday, actors will receive scripts for the first time, rehearse with the writer/director the sketches they are cast in, and perform them THAT NIGHT.

Never done sketch before? No worries. This is a perfect opportunity to learn alongside those in our community who have experience in sketch, and be a part of a fun pop-up sketch production.

Keep in mind that show day is a full day commitment for both writers/directors, and actors. If you are planning to write, and would be willing/available to act, select the “both” option from the drop-down menu. If you are signing up as an actor, please only select the “acting” option.
